When have you chased after things in the world and found that nothing truly satisfies? According to the bible: The whole of history is a tale of two spiritual cities: BABYLON- the worldly city of man marked by self indulgence, chasing wealth, sexual immorality and power. NEW JERUSALEM - the heavenly city of God, self-denial, humility, love, and joy. But here's the thing... Babylon and all of its lust and power is temporary. Jerusalem and it’s truer beauty + higher virtues is eternal. Revelation 18 asks: Which city are YOU a part of? The message today is→ COME OUT OF THE CITY OF DEATH AND INTO LIFE. Come out of the city that promises things that will never satisfy. And enter in to the city that offers deeper and lasting joy.
